Adilabad/Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Three people were electrocuted in two separate incidents here on Sunday. In the first incident, Shaik Ayyub (22), a contract worker with Northern Power Distribution Company limited (NPDCL), came in contact with a live wire while installing a power transformer at Bhela mandal centre of Adilabad district. He died while he was being shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)-Adilabad. Based on a complaint filed by Nammu, his brother, a case was registered. In the second incident, Vilasagar Vijay (25), a differently-abled person was electrocuted at Babasagar village in Chintalamanepalli mandal. His father, Shankar too died when he tried to save Vijay, Chintalamanepalli sub-inspector N Sandeep said. Swapna, Vijay’s wife lodged a complaint. Police registered a case and took up investigation.
