Hyderabad: Three major films (Single, Lal Salaam, and Bhool Chuk Maaf ) have landed on streaming platforms this week, offering a mix of romance, comedy, and drama.
Sree Vishnu’s Romantic Comedy “Single” Now on OTT
After a successful theatrical run, Single is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Starring Sree Vishnu, Ketika Sharma, and Ivana, the film is a light-hearted romantic comedy directed by Caarthick Raju. Known for its fun moments and emotional beats, the film also features Vennela Kishore, VTV Ganesh, and Kalpalatha, with special appearances by Reba Monica John, Narne Nithin, and Maanasa Choudhary.
The film is now available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it accessible to a wider audience. With music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and backed by Geetha Arts and Kalya Films, Single promises wholesome entertainment at home.
A Quiet OTT Release for “Lal Salaam”
A year after its theatrical release, Lal Salaam has finally dropped on Sun NXT. Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and featuring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, the film includes a cameo by superstar Rajinikanth. While the Tamil version is now streaming in an extended cut, the Telugu version is missing, with no official update.
Despite names like AR Rahman and Lyca Productions attached, the film was criticised for weak storytelling and failed to impress in theatres. The OTT release has received little buzz, raising doubts about its digital success.
“Bhool Chuk Maaf” Now Streaming On Prime Video
Meanwhile, Bhool Chuk Maaf has quickly made its way to OTT just two weeks after its theatrical release. The romantic comedy, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, faced several delays due to the India-Pakistan conflict. Originally planned for a direct OTT debut, the film eventually hit theatres on May 23 after legal intervention by PVR Inox.
Now streaming in Hindi on Amazon Prime Video, the film didn’t make big numbers at the box office but is gaining attention online. Directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Maddock Films with Amazon MGM Studios, Bhool Chuk Maaf can be one of your weekend choice to watch.
