Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Three foresters were suspended for allegedly involving in smuggling of teak timber from Maharashtra to Telagnana, on Wednesday.
Karjelli Forest Range Officer Rajender said that the suspended foresters were Gudem Forest Section Officer Srikanth, Gudem Forest Beat Officer and his counterpart from Shivapalli beat, Saddam.

The smugglers furnished a fake permit and hoodwinked foresters of the neighboring state. Without checking the veracity of the permit, these three officials who were discharging duties at a check post at Gudem village in Chintalamanepalli mandal a few months back. Their act was exposed when officials concerned carried out an enquiry into the incident.
