Hyderabad: The Karkhana police have booked a man on charges of trapping a minor girl in the name of love and raping her. Two of his friends who supported him were also booked.
Police said the suspect, Aman Khan (26), a private employee from Malakpet and the 16-year-old girl became friends on Snapchat and exchanged their mobile phone numbers. They were regularly talking over the phone since then. Recently, Khan proposed to her and with the help of his friends Manohar (30) and Nagulmeera Sheik (28), both workers at different hotels, booked rooms on different dates. He took her to the hotel room and raped her.
The victim told her mother, after which they approached the Karkhana police, who booked a case under the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and took up investigation.
The suspects were taken into custody.
