Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Three persons from Maharashtra were arrested for allegedly possessing and transporting explosives at Jainoor mandal centre on Friday.

Jainoor police said Kishanlal Jhat, Ajaypal Jhat and Ashish Jaiswal, all from Nanded district of the neighbouring state, were apprehended for transporting explosives without obtaining permission from the authorities. They warned that stern action would be taken against those using explosives without permission and valid licences.

Police said the use of explosives without prior permission was unlawful and urged the public to share information about those storing explosive material with local police officials. They also advised people to obtain permission from authorities for activities such as digging wells and construction works involving the use of explosives.
