Three held in PMJ jewellery shop heist in Karimnagar
Karimnagar police arrested three members of an interstate dacoity gang involved in a jewellery shop heist on May 3. Two main accused were among those held, while the gang leader remains in jail and several others continue to evade arrest.

Karimnagar: In a major breakthrough, Karimnagar police arrested three members of the interstate dacoity gang involved in the sensational PMJ jewellery shop heist that took place on May 3 this year.
Out of 13 accused involved in the dacoity, three including two main accused were arrested. The main
accused person Raghunath Karmakar alias Jagira Singh and Ravish Kumar and his assistant Mehtab Khan were arrested.
While Raghunath and Mehtab belong to Asansol of West Bengal, Ravish Kumar is from Nalanda of Bihar. Rs 51,000 cash, two mobile phones, two sim cards, fake Aadhar cards were recovered from them.
While the gang leader Subodh Singh is in Purnia jail, other accused Radhe Mishra, Mshra, Suryamani Kumar are absconding.
Producing the accused before the media here on Thursday, Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam explained the modus operandi of the gang.
