Hyderabad: Two Hyderabad-based companies have been recognized as the great places to work and one more has been ranked on fastest technology company globally.
AGI Glaspac, container glass bottle manufacturer, which is headquartered in Hyderabad, was bestowed with the India’s Best Workplaces recognition by the Great Place to Work India, while IT firm Progress is also listed in the 2021-2022 Great Place to Work in India.
Another international IT firm, Qentelli, that leads Digital Transformation services for companies, was ranked 323rd on Deloitte Technology Fast 500 globally. The company is a consistent early adopter of technology, industry best practices, and employee initiatives that enables it to provide a superior experience to its clients, partners, and employees.
From being ranked as the best Indian city to live in by Mercer’s Quality of Living Ranking for five consecutive years (2015-19) to being ranked as the best city to live and work in India by ‘Holidify.com’ in 2020, Hyderabad has marched towards being the best place to work in, in India as well.
Across various sectors, the city of pearls witnessed an average growth of 20 per cent in hiring in September 2021 as compared with the same period last year. An analysis by job site Indeed has shown that despite the challenges like work from home, digitization, automation and lockdown, the city has proven itself to remain among the top three cities, along with Bangalore and Mumbai, among job seekers looking for work.
