Three injured after oil tanker hits car on Vijayawada–Hyderabad highway
Three persons sustained minor injuries after an oil tanker hit a car near Veliminedu in Chityala on Monday. The tanker overturned on the Vijayawada–Hyderabad highway, disrupting traffic movement, while police launched efforts to clear the road and restore normal vehicular movement.
Nalgonda: Three persons suffered minor injuries when the car in which they were travelling was hit by an oil tanker on the highway at Veliminedu, Chityala here on Monday.
Such was the impact of the accident that the oil tanker fell on the road, disrupting the traffic movement on the Vijayawada – Hyderabad highway. The incident occurred when the car was heading to Sangareddy from Nellore, according to reports.
The police have reached the spot and are trying to clear the oil tanker and facilitate smooth flow of traffic. More details are awaited.
