Three injured as armed mob attacks housewarming ceremony in Medipally
At least three people were injured after a mob of around 40-to-50-armed men allegedly attacked a housewarming ceremony in Devender Nagar Colony, Boduppal, early Sunday. Police deployed additional personnel, registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

HYDERABAD: At least three individuals suffered injuries when a mob of around 40 to 50 armed men allegedly stormed a housewarming ceremony and attacked people at Boduppal in Medipally in the early hours of Sunday.
According to the eyewitnesses, the mob, armed with sticks, stones, and other objects, reportedly barged into the newly inaugurated house in Devender Nagar Colony and attacked those attending the function, including women, children and elderly family members. Vehicles parked outside the houses were damaged by the vandals.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, with some reported to be in critical condition. On information, the Medipally police reached the spot, brought the situation under control, deployed additional forces in the area, and registered a case.
Efforts to contact the police proved futile.
