Three injured in late-night mob attack at Hyderabad’s Raidurgam hotel
According to reports, the miscreants reportedly came in two SUVs and entered into the hotel, they then attacked the hotel staff and pan shop workers with a rod and hands leading to injuries
Hyderabad: Three persons belonging to a particular community were injured when a group of persons entered into a hotel at Raidurgam and attacked them late on Tuesday night.
The incident happened at Chai Chaska Hotel located near Malkam Cheruvu on Raidurgam road around midnight. The miscreants reportedly came in two SUVs and entered into the hotel, they then attacked the hotel staff and pan shop workers with a rod and hands leading to injuries. The trouble mongers then shouted slogans and damaged two motorcycles parked in front of the hotel and ran away when the police reached the spot.
Soon after protests broke out at the spot and a crowd gathered at the Raidurgam police station demanding action against the miscreants.
Raidurgam Inspector, Ch Venkanna, said that the police had registered a case of attempt to murder, rioting and other offenses against Ashok, Sandeep, Praveen and others. “Special teams have been formed to apprehend all the suspects involved in the incident. We have collected the footage of the closed circuit cameras and identified all those who are involved,” said the Inspector.
As a precautionary measure the security has been beefed up at Shaikpet – Raidurgam road.
