Kothagudem: Three security personnel engaged in anti-Naxal operations reportedly fell ill due to scorching summer heat and were admitted to Government Area Hospital at Bhadrachalam in the district for treatment.
According to sources, three jawans accompanied by ten colleagues and officials were brought to the hospital on Wednesday night and were discharged on Thursday night after treatment for dehydration was over.
It was said that rugged terrain and severe summers have been posing a challenge to the security personnel who were currently engaged in anti-Maoist operations in the forests of Karregutta on Telangana-Chhattisgarh borders.
