Hyderabad: Two persons were killed after ramming their bike into an earthmover in Uppal on Sunday afternoon.
Lakavath Naresh (22) of Bhongir and Tanguturi Ganesh (20) of Ghatkesar who worked with a private company in Jeedimetla had come to a supermarket to make purchases. While returning on their bike towards Uppal, they rammed their KTM bike into an earthmover which was taking a turn.
“Both of them got stuck between the wheels and body of the earth mover. Death was instant for them,” said Mahboob Ali, sub inspector, Uppal police station. The police removed the bodies and shifted to the mortuary and registered a case and took the driver of the earth mover into custody.
In a separate case, a 25 year-old man died after hitting the railing of the flyover at Shamshabad on Sunday morning.
K Satish (25) of Shamshabad village was going towards Rajendranagar when he lost control over his bike and rammed the flyover wall. He died on the spot, said the RGI Airport police. A case is registered by the police and investigation going on.
