HYDERABAD: Three people were killed in two separate road accidents in and around Hyderabad on Thursday.

Two women were killed after a speeding Bolero vehicle rammed into passengers waiting at a roadside bus stop near Sattam Rai in Shamshabad, Ranga Reddy district, on Thursday morning.

According to police, the Bolero, which was carrying beans, lost control while attempting to overtake another vehicle and crashed into people waiting for a bus. The impact left two women severely injured, and they died on the spot.

Police rushed to the scene after receiving information about the accident and shifted the bodies to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem examination.

The victims are residents of Sattam Rai, identified as Suma and Suvarna. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.

In the second accident, a man was killed in Saidabad after an RTC bus ran over him on Thursday.

The victim was identified as Syed Khader Ali, a resident of Chandrayangutta. According to police, Khader Ali was riding his motorcycle when he allegedly lost control, and the vehicle skidded on the road. As he fell, an RTC bus coming from behind ran over him, causing fatal injuries. He died on the spot.

The police registered a case and started an investigation.
