Three Maoist cadres surrender before police in Kothagudem
The family members of underground Maoists were making efforts to bring them out of the party as part of ‘Operation Cheyutha’ being implemented by the district police.

Kothagudem: Two CPI (Maoist) party Cherla area committee members and a dalam member surrendered before the district police and CRPF 141 Bn here on Saturday.
The area committee members Podiam Mangu of Tumrel village in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh and Madvi Adime of Korakatpadu in Cherla mandal in the district along with dalam member Kudam Somal of Gollaguppa in Yetapaka village of ASR district in AP were the surrendered naxals.
Superintendent of Police B Rohith Raju informed that the above three joined the Maoist part in 2018-19 as armed dalam members of Cherla platoon of BK-ASR division committee. Later Mangu and Adime were promoted as area committee members and the trio was carrying each Rs 4 lakh cash reward on their heads.
