Medak: Three members of a family, including a one-year-old boy, died when a speeding car hit another car coming in the opposite direction at Kowdipally late on Sunday night.

According to police, Mohd Ali (45), Ajeema Begum and Mohd Ghouse (1), along with six other family members, were heading towards Medak from Hyderabad when a speeding car coming in the opposite direction hit their car. While Ali, Ajeema and Ghouse died on the spot, Sana Begum (30), Iran Sahesha (25), Halima(55), MD Mohammad (5) and two other kids aged below six months sustained serious injuries.


The driver of the other car involved in the accident, Harish Reddy, also sustained injuries. The bodies were shifted to the government hospital in Medak. The injured were also shifted to hospital for treatment.

A case was registered.
