Three members of family commit suicide, jump into Krishna River
The family left behind a suicide note stating that no one was responsible for their suicide and that they decided to end their lives due to health problems.
Nalgonda: Three members of a family committed suicide by jumping into the Krishna river from the new bridge at Nagarjuna Sagar on Friday.
Mandari Ramaiah (36), a TSGENCO employee, his wife Nagamani (30) and son Sathwik (12), resorted to the extreme step. They left behind a suicide note stating that no one was responsible for their suicide and that they decided to end their lives due to health problems.
Relatives grew suspicious when the family went missing from their house on Thursday night. Subsequently, they found the suicide note in the house.
The relatives immediately informed the Nagarjuna Sagar police who launched a search for them. They found the two wheeler belonging to Ramaiah near the new bridge on Friday morning.
The body of Sathwik was found in Krishna river downstream at Chinthelapalem by the local people. The police fished out the body. Search for Ramaiah and Nagamma was continuing in the river.
Though health problem was cited as the reason in the suicide note, rumours spread in Nagarjuna Sagar that the victim had invested huge amount of money in online business and were in financial crisis.
