Three minor girls missing from Hyderabad’s Domalguda; police launch massive search

Hyderabad: Three minor girls went missing from Domalguda, creating panic among their family members and prompting police to launch a large-scale search operation.

According to police, the girls, who belong to migrant worker families from Chhattisgarh and live in Farid Basti, left their homes on Sunday and did not return. Concerned about their whereabouts, family members searched for them before filing a complaint that night.

Officials who examined the CCTV footage have found that the girls boarded an auto-rickshaw from Himayatnagar and later reached Kacheguda Railway Station. Additional footage reportedly showed them at Secunderabad Railway Station, leading police to believe they may have travelled out of the city.

Following the lead, special police teams have been formed to trace the girls. Officials are also examining the surveillance footage, coordinating with railway authorities, and alerting police units in neighbouring districts and Chhattisgarh to determine whether the children attempted to return to their native place.
