Three more special trains introduced in AP

These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, and Sleeper Class and Reserved General Seating class coaches.

Visakhapatnam: Railways has introduced three more special trains to clear extra rush of passengers.

Train No. 02643/02644 Ernakulam – Patna – Ernakulam Bi-Weekly special train will leave Ernakulam at 17.15 hrs o­n Mondays and Tuesdays with effect from Monday and arrive Patna at 20.00 hrs o­n the second day.

In the return direction, the train will leave Patna at 14.00 hrs o­n Thursdays and Fridays with effect from 26.11.2020 and arrive Ernakulam at 16.00 hrs o­n the second day.

En route, these special trains will stop at Aluva, Thrisur, Palghat, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Perambur, o­ngole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Balugan, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jalleswar, Hijilli, Midnapur, Bishnupur, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Kiul, Mokameh, Bakhtiyarpur,Patna Saheb and Rajendra Nagar stations.

These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, and Sleeper Class and Reserved General Seating class coaches.

Similarly, train No. 02659/02660 Nagercoil – Shalimar – Nagercoil Weekly Special Train will leave Nagercoil at 14.45 hrs o­n Sundays with effect from Sunday and arrive Shalimar at 11.55 hrs o­n the second day.

In the return direction, the train will leave Shalimar at 23.50 hrs o­n Wednesdays with effect from November 25 and arrive in Nagercoil at 21.35 hrs o­n the second day.

En route, these special trains will stop at Trivandrum, Varkala, Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Palghat, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Chittoor, Tirupati, Renigunta, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Balugan, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur and Santragachi stations in both the directions.

Composition: These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and Reserved General Seating class coaches.

Also, train No. 02641/02642 Trivandrum – Shalimar – Trivandrum Bi-Weekly Special train will leave Trivandrum at 16.55 hrs o­n Thursdays and Saturdays with effect from Nov. 28 and arrive Shalimar at 11.55 hrs o­n the second day.

In the return direction, it will leave Shalimar at 23.50 hrs o­n Sundays and Tuesdays with effect from December 1 and arrive in Trivandrum at 20.55 hrs o­n the second day.

En route, these special trains will stop at Santragachi, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur k Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram Jn, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada Jn, Perambur, Katpadi Jn, Jolarpettai, Salem Jn, Erode Jn, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Amabalappuzha, Haripad, Kayakulam Jn, Kollam Jn and Thiruvanthapuram Petta stations.

These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper and General second class coaches.
