Three persons from Nalgonda killed in road accident near Maddimadugu
Nalgonda: Three persons from Surya Thanda of Miryalaguda mandal in the district died in an accident near Maddimadugu of Padara mandal of Nagarkurnool district on Sunday. Nalgonda: Three persons from Surya Thanda of Miryalaguda mandal in the district died in an accident near Maddimadugu of Padara mandal of Nagarkurnool district on Sunday.
The victims were identified as Kethavat Jambrunaiak(65), Jatavath Poli (70) and auto driver Jatavath Srinu (32), natives of Surya thanda. A TSRTC bus from Devarakonda depot hit an autorickshaw in which the victims were travelling near Maddimadugu. Eight persons were traveling in the autorickshaw at the time of the incident. Another three persons suffered minor injuries.
The accident occured when the victims were returning to their native place in the autorickshaw after attending a tonsure function of a relative’s son at Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple at Maddimadugu.
A pall of gloom descended on the thanda following the death of three residents.
