At Petbasheerabad, a 58-year-old man on a motor cycle died while trying to avoid hitting a stray buffalo
Hyderabad: Three persons were killed in separate accidents in the city on Monday night.
At Petbasheerabad, a 58-year-old man on a motor cycle died while trying to avoid hitting a stray buffalo. According to the police, G Balram of Dundigal was going on his motorcycle on the Shamirpet road when a buffalo came on to the road. While trying to avoid hitting the animal, Balram lost control over his bike and fell on the road. He sustained injuries and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital later in the night.
In another case at Balanagar, a student P Ravindranath (17) of Borabanda died in a road accident. Ravindranath was going on his motorcycle when an unknown vehicle hit the bike. He sustained injuries in the accident and was shifted to a private hospital where he died, the police said.
At Gopalapuram, one person Akash Malik, who sustained injuries in a road accident on Sunday night, died while undergoing treatment early on Tuesday.
According to the police, on Sunday night Akash Malik (28), a PhD scholar, was riding pillion on Activa bike while his friend was riding the vehicle when the accident occurred. An unknown vehicle hit the Activa at Tarnaka following which both of them fell on the road. They were rushed to a hospital where Akash Malik died while undergoing treatment. The other person is undergoing treatment. A case was registered by the police.
