Three rowdy-sheeters held for robbing auto driver in Vattepally

Hyderabad police on Thursday arrested three persons, including two rowdy-sheeters, for allegedly robbing an auto driver at knife-point in Vattepally.

Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally police on Thursday arrested three persons including two rowdy sheeters for allegedly robbing an auto driver at knife-point in Vattepally earlier this week.

The arrested trio, Mohd Mahaboob and Mohd Saddam alias Khaleel, both rowdy-sheeters and Shaik Raheel, intercepted the victim near Guntal Sha Baba Dargah on June 20 and robbed him of a mobile phone and Rs 1,600 cash.

Mahaboob and Saddam are rowdy-sheeters of Mailardevpally police station with previous criminal cases against them.

Police recovered the stolen cash, mobile phone, a knife, and two two-wheelers allegedly used in the crime.
