Adilabad: In a tragic incident, three youngsters were killed and a woman sustained injuries when two-motorcycles collided with each other when one of them was heading to participate in Christmas celebrations, at Kummarithanda village in Utnoor mandal on Friday night. The incident came to light on Saturday.

Utnoor Sub Inspector Subba Rao said that the deceased were Jadav Ashwin (21) and his Kotambe Bhavesh (21), both belonging to Thadihathnoor village in Narnoor mandal and Durgam Naresh (22), a resident of Perkaguda village in Narnoor mandal. The injured was Rajini, the wife of Naresh.


Ashwin and Bhavesh received fatal injuries, while Naresh had critical wounds when the two motorbikes dashed against each other at Kummarithanda village in Adilabad-Utnoor highway resulting in spot death for the two. Naresh breathed his last while being treated at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)-Adilabad. His wife’s medical condition is learned to be stable.

Both Ashwin and Bhavesh were heading to their native place after attending function in Indervelli mandal by a motor-cycle, Naresh and Rajini were proceeding to Perkaguda for participating in Christmas celebrations held at a church in Indervelli mandal at the time of the mishap. Some passersby alerted the police who in turn rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Utnoor government hospital.

According to locals, Naresh was married to Rajini six months back. He was helping hand to his father in agriculture activities and was a gentleman. Ashwin used to operate a groceries store. Bhavesh was working with a private company in Hyderabad.
