Ticket sales open for FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers in Hyderabad

Hockey India has opened ticket sales for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers in Hyderabad from March 8 to 14. Tickets start at Rs 25. India will compete with seven nations for three World Cup spots.

Hyderabad: Hockey India has announced that ticket sales for the upcoming FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers here will go live today (March 2, 2026).

The tournament is scheduled to be held at the G M C Balayogi Hockey Ground from March 8 to 14.


Hockey India has ensured that ticket prices remain nominal across all stands, keeping the event accessible to fans and encouraging strong support from the stands throughout the tournament. Tickets are priced at Rs 100 for the East Stand, Rs 50 for the North Stand and Rs 25 for the South Stand, allowing families, students and hockey enthusiasts to be part of the action at the G M C Balayogi Hockey Ground.

India, England, Scotland, Korea, Italy, Uruguay, Wales and Austria will be competing for three qualification spots at the FIH Hockey World Cup Belgium and Netherlands 2026, set to be held in August. The competition will see the teams split into two pools, with England, Korea, Italy and Austria forming Pool A, while hosts India are grouped with Scotland, Uruguay and Wales in Pool B.

The Indian Women’s Hockey Team will open their campaign against Uruguay on March 8, followed by matches against Scotland and Wales on March 9 and 11, respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Hockey India President Dr Dilip Tirkey said, “We warmly welcome all hockey fans to Hyderabad for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers Hyderabad, Telangana. We are confident that supporters will turn up in large numbers and fill the stands at the G M C Balayogi Hockey Ground to cheer for India and the other nations. Hosting this prestigious tournament is a proud moment for Indian hockey and I invite everyone to come to the stadium, support the players and be part of what promises to be an exciting week of international hockey.”

Hockey India Secretary General Shri Bhola Nath Singh added, “This is a wonderful opportunity for fans in Hyderabad to witness high-quality international hockey. With affordable ticket prices, we want to ensure that families, students and young aspiring players can experience the thrill of live matches. We are working tirelessly to deliver a smooth and memorable event for players and spectators alike.”

Ticket prices for the event are as follows:
East Stand: Rs 100
North Stand: Rs 50
South Stand: Rs 25
