TIFR Hyderabad invites applications for ‘Visiting Students Research Programme-2025’

The programme offers opportunities for undergraduate students to obtain training in research, thus helping them choose a career in science

TIFR Hyderabad invites applications for ‘Visiting Students Research Programme-2025’

Hyderabad: The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Hyderabad has called for applications from interested and eligible students for its ‘Visiting Students Research Programme-2025’ initiative. The last date for apply for the program is February 28.

The programme offers opportunities for undergraduate students to obtain training in research, thus helping them choose a career in science. Candidates can apply directly by contacting the respective faculty member through email with a CV.


Students of any stream in their final year of a 3-year- B.Sc program and students in their pore-final year of M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc, 4-year B.Sc or B.Tech/ BR program are eligible while Ph.D and those students who have participated in previous years are not eligible to apply.

Selected students will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 9, 000 and travel reimbursement as per the TIFR rules. Free shared accommodation is provided by the TIFR. For details: https://www.tifrh.res.in/academic/vsrp
