Yadadri-Bhongir: Police made tight security arrangements for the visit of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to Yadadri on Tuesday.
A large number of police personnel were deployed on the hill shrine and along the main road to Yadagirigutta. Private vehicles were also not allowed on to the hill shrine by the police, but TSRTC buses were permitted to avoid any inconvenience to devotees.
Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) vice chairman Kishan Rao and Executive officer of the temple N Geetha supervised the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit at the main temple and Balalayam of lord Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy on Tuesday morning.
Speaking to the media at Yadadari hill shrine, Kishan Rao said only the finishing touches and fitting of air-conditioners was pending at the main temple and the remaining works including civil works were completed. “If the Chief Minister announces the date for reopening of the main temple, we will speed up the remaining works and complete them at the earliest,” he said.
