Hyderabad: India star Tilak Varma cracked a century (109, 118b, 6×4, 3×6) and a fine knock by Abhirath Reddy helped Hyderabad record a 136-run win against Chandigarh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy one-day cricket championship at Rajkot on Saturday.
This is the first win for Hyderabad in this edition.
Batting first, Hyderabad scored 286 for nine in 50 overs thanks to Tilak and Abhirath.
In reply, Chandigarh folded up for 150 in 37.4 overs with fast bowler CTL Rakshann picking three for 34.
