Time for some sunshine in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana

After nearly two weeks of incessant rain, Telangana can expect sunshine from Wednesday. Hyderabad may see passing light to moderate showers or drizzle, but the low-pressure area has moved away, bringing dry weather and sunny spells across many parts of the state.

Hyderabad: After experiencing incessant showers and overcast skies that lasted for nearly a fortnight, Telangana can expect some sunshine on Wednesday.

While there are chances of light to moderate showers and even drizzle, people in Hyderabad can expect much-needed sunshine.

K Nagaratha, Head of IMD-Hyderabad, posted on X that there would be “Light to moderate rains in few places in north, northwest and northeast districts of Telangana and light /rain or drizzle in GHMC area. Rest likely to see less rains. Sunny conditions ahead from today onwards in many parts of the State”.

According to independent weather trackers, a dry spell is expected to continue for a few more days as the low pressure area (LPA) that had caused heavy downpour across Telangana for the past week, has moved away.

“Dear people of Hyderabad and Telangana, get ready for Surya Darshan. The LPA has almost moved away and we will have a good amount of sunshine, especially in the late morning hours. There will be moderate passing showers in parts of the city on Wednesday,” independent weather tracker T Balaji posted on X.
