TITA sets up incubation center for women
TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala said that the association will establish more such incubation centers at women’s colleges across the State
Hyderabad: Industry body Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG College, Maredpally to set up Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre (TIIC) for women.
TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala said that the association will establish more such incubation centers at women’s colleges across the State. Kasturba Vice-Principal Dr. Rajashri R said the new center will promote innovation and entrepreneurship among girl students.
The incubation center will be set up in commence department and the college will provide 10,000 sqft space for the TIIC. The TIIC organizing committee will have three representatives from the college and four from TITA. The Incubation centre will encourage innovations and work for women empowerment by encouraging startups by women, a release said.
