Hyderabad: Addanki Dayakar, Member of the Telangana Government Committee constituted to identify and recognise Telangana Movement activists, requested Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala to take the lead in identifying IT professionals who actively participated in the Telangana Movement and submit a report along with supporting evidence.

Participating in Telangana Formation Day celebrations organised by the TITA, he emphasised that the contribution of the IT sector towards the Telangana Statehood Movement was significant and should be properly documented and recognised.

Responding to the appeal, Makthala assured TITA’s support and called upon IT professionals, entrepreneurs, employees, students, and members of the technology fraternity who participated in the Telangana Movement to submit their details and supporting evidence.

Makthala stated that TITA will constitute a Screening & Selection Committee to receive, scrutinise, and compile applications from eligible participants. Submission guidelines, documentation requirements, and timelines will be announced shortly.

He appealed to participants to keep relevant supporting documents ready, including newspaper clippings, photographs, videos, certificates, representations, social media records, and any other evidence related to their participation.
