TITA to help aqua sector through various initiatives
TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala met fishermen at the banks of the river Krishna and discussed with them various issues they were facing.

Hyderabad: In order to help the fishermen community with their various issues, Telangana IT Association (TITA) is looking at providing technology to make the sector operations safer and help the community in turn. The association which came up with various projects like TConsult and Covid DawaKhana has now come forward to help the fishermen community to help them in their operation and make the aqua sector more sustainable.
As part of this initiative, TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala met fishermen at the banks of the river Krishna and discussed with them various issues they were facing. During his visit, Makthala discussed with the community the issue of crocodiles straying on the shorelines and promised that the association will provide them life jackets as a first step.
Makthala later visited Sripada Vallabh temple on the banks of river Krishna near the Karnataka border and met locals and temple priests. He said that the place will be promoted as a spiritual center and tourist spot with the help from the IT industry.

A group of fishermen expressed apprehension of the ongoing Krishna River water row between AP and Telangana, Makthala said that he will raise his voice for the rights of the people of the area like he did during the Telangana statehood movement.
