TMREIS entrance test cancelled
Admission in Inter first year to be done for only TMR school students through drawl of lucky dip at college level in the presence of selection panel
Hyderabad: In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the selection of candidates for admissions in TMR Schools and Junior Colleges for the academic year 2021-22 through the entrance test has been cancelled, said B Shafiullah, Secretary, Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS).
The selection would be through a lucky dip at school level with respect to admissions in TMR Schools. The admission in the intermediate first year would be done for only TMR School students through drawl of lucky dip at the college level in the presence of selection committee duly following the rule of reservation of TMREIS, he said in a press release on Friday.
After the process of admission of TMREIS students, the left-over seats, if any available would be filled by inviting fresh applications at the college level from the eligible candidates of other institutions.
Accordingly, the society has issued an admission schedule inviting online applications from eligible candidates belonging to minorities and non-minorities communities for admissions into Class V in 204 TMR Schools and intermediate first year in 118 TMR Junior colleges.
Applications have also been invited for admissions against backlog vacancies in the minorities category in Classes VI, VII and VIII for the academic year 2021-22 through the lucky dip.
Eligible candidates can apply through the website http://www.tmreis.telangana.gov.in/ up to May 20. The drawl of lots/lucky dip for Class V admissions is on June 1 and for Classes VI, VII and VIII on June 3. The drawl of lots/lucky dip for admissions into the intermediate first year is scheduled from June 1 to 4.
According to the TMREIS, the provisional selected candidates would be informed on June 6 and certificate verification besides admissions into Classes V, VI, VII, VIII and intermediate would be done from June 8 to 12. The classes would commence from June 14, the Society said.
