TMREIS launches mobile app for admissions

Candidates can download the mobile application ‘TMREIS’ from Google Play Store and fill the admission form

Hyderabad: To make the admission application process easier and more convenient, the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) on Saturday launched a new mobile application.

Candidates can download the mobile application ‘TMREIS’ from Google Play Store and fill the admission form, TMREIS Secretary B Shafiullah said in a press release. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the new mobile application would prevent students and parents from gathering at the schools and colleges, he said.

The application forms can also be submitted through the TMREIS official website www.tmreis.telangana.gov.in. The last date for receipt of the application is May 20.

Students would be admitted by lots at the school level in the respective TMR Schools whereas the admissions in the intermediate first-year would be done for only TMR School students through drawl of lots at college level following the rule of reservation of the TMREIS, he said.

After the process of admissions of TMREIS students, the left-over seats, if any available would be filled by inviting fresh applications at the college level from the eligible candidates of other institutions, he said.
