Khammam: Members of TNGOs Union and TGOs Union have extended their support to Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, the TRS candidate for MLC elections of Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates’ constituency.
An extended executive meeting of the unions was organised here on Friday where TNGOs Union State president M Rajender, its State general secretary Pratap, TGOs Union State general secretary A Satyanarayana who addressed the union office-bearers and members.
They said the unions were fully supporting the candidature of the sitting MLC Rajeshwar Reddy and called upon the gazetted and non-gazetted employees to vote for the TRS nominee to re-elect him with a huge majority.
The union leaders appreciated the employee-friendly measures being taken up by the State government and that is why they were supporting Rajeshwar Reddy in the MLC election.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar and the MLC candidate Rajeshwar Reddy thanked the leaders of TNGOs Union and TGOs Union for extending their support to the TRS in the election.
The Minister said that the TRS government was the most employee-friendly government in the country and introduced several measures for the welfare of the employees. He urged them to cast their first preference vote for the TRS candidate.
Later in the day, Ajay Kumar along with Khammam MP N Nageswar Rao, Rajeshwar Reddy and MLAs Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and L Ramlu Naik including others attended the TRS Athmeeya Sammelanam meeting held at Mamata Hospital grounds here.
Addressing the gathering, Puvvada said that there was no competition to the TRS in the MLC elections. No candidate belonging to the opposition parties is capable enough to give a competition to the TRS, he added.
He wanted the TRS cadre to take up massive door-to-door campaign in the towns and villages to ensure the victory of Rajeshwar Reddy.
The leaders listed out the welfare and development measures being implemented by the TRS government and said the opposition parties’ leaders who failed to see the fruits of such measures were making false allegations against the TRS government.
