Tolichowki police arrest three in twin theft cases, recover Rs 10 lakh ornaments

Tolichowki police in Hyderabad solved two theft cases, arresting three persons including two housemaids, and recovered gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 10 lakh.

Hyderabad: Tolichowki police solved two separate theft cases, arresting three persons, including two housemaids and recovered gold and silver ornaments, altogether worth Rs10 lakh on Saturday.

In the first case, Madhuri Anuradha (39), a domestic help at Satva Magnus apartments, was arrested for stealing 45 grams of gold ornaments from her employer’s house. She was caught at a jewelry store with the stolen jewellery.

In the second case, Ruheena Begum (27) and her associate Mohd Razak (35) were arrested for burgling a house in NSF Colony, when the residents were away. Police recovered 4.5 tolas of gold, 50 tolas of silver ornaments and cash worth Rs 5,000.
