Tolichowki police solved the murder of 23-year-old auto driver Mohd Irfan within 24 hours, arresting main suspect Shaik Bilal and two women. The attack stemmed from a dispute over alleged rumours. A fourth accused is still absconding.

Hyderabad: The Tolichowki police have solved a murder case within 24 hours by arresting three suspects, including the main assailant, in connection with the killing of a 23-year-old auto driver on December 15.
The victim, identified as Mohd Irfan, was stabbed during a heated argument at an auto stand near Marwa Dental Hospital in Tolichowki. He was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police said the incident stemmed from a dispute over alleged rumours about the character of the prime suspect, Shaik Bilal’s wife. Bilal allegedly attacked Irfan with a knife after an argument. Two women, identified as Sana Begum and Ruhi Begum, were also arrested for their involvement in the incident.
A fourth accused, Mohd Naveed, is absconding and police teams have been formed to trace him.
The suspects were nabbed from Afsar Khan Colony in Golconda and produced before the court for remanding in judicial custody.
