Tollywood producer arrested in forgery case in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Osmania University police arrested movie producer and realtor, B Siva Ramakrishna, along with two others for forging documents and trying to grab government property at Raidurgam.
According to the police, Siva Ramakrishna, along with K Chandrasekhar and M Lingammaiah, got duplicate documents prepared pertaining to a property at Raidurgam and got it attested at Telangana State Archives and Research Institute.
“Although the department did not possess the land related records, the record assistant attested the documents and gave it to Ramakrishna and others. The documents were used as official records pertaining to the land and cases were filed in the courts to grab the government land,” said the police.
On a complaint from the higher officials of Telangana State Archives and Research Institute, a case was registered and during enquiry the record assistant was arrested. On interrogation, he revealed about the role of Ramakrishna and other people involved, the police added.
