Hyderabad: Top-seeded Sri Charan Sandipagu of Velocity Chess Academy (Kukatpally) won the Open Prize Money Chess Tournament held at A2H Chess Academy (Kukatpally) here.

In the final round, Charan outwitted National under-13 girls champion M Deekshitha to match her score. In the tie-breaker, Charan emerged victorious, while Deekshitha finished second.
