TPCC appoints 27 Vice Presidents and 69 General Secretaries
The AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal issued orders on Monday night regarding the appointment of 27 vice presidents and 69 general secretaries.
Hyderabad: The All India Congress Committee approved the appointments of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice presidents and General Secretaries providing much-needed relief to the aspirants. However, the appointment of working presidents has been kept pending.
The AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal issued orders on Monday night regarding the appointment of 27 vice presidents and 69 general secretaries.
A couple of legislators, including Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy and Achampet MLA C Vamsi Krishna have been appointed as VPs. This apart, MLC Balmoor Venkat and MLC Basavaraju Saraiah and MP K Raghuveer Reddy have also been appointed as VPs. Former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan is also one among the VPs.
Among the 69 general secretaries, Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju, Narayanpet MLA Ch Parnika Reddy and Sattupalli MLA Matta Ragamayee, have been included.
The announcement came after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met the AICC General Secretary in New Delhi on Monday evening.
