Hyderabad: TPCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud defended Ministers’ meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka amidst Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s foreign tour, saying it was a routine practice.
“When the Chief Minister is abroad, there is nothing wrong in Ministers holding a meeting regarding administrative aspects. I presume, Bhatti Vikramarka had held a meeting over administration,” Goud said while speaking to media persons in New Delhi.
His remarks bear significance as there have been reports that a few Ministers held a closed-door meeting at the Deputy Chief Minister’s residence.
The TPCC president flew to the national capital to attend a meeting with AICC general secretary KC Venugopal. During the meeting, issues pertaining to strengthening the party cadre, organisational appointments and others were discussed, he said.
“After the Chief Minister returns from abroad, a meeting will be held with him over all these issues,” Goud said.
