Hyderabad: A day after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a meeting with cabinet ministers on Sunday, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud convened another meeting on Monday, leaving senior leaders perplexed over the state of affairs in the party.

AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, Forest Minister Konda Surekha, MLAs, and others attended the meeting at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday.

At the meeting convened by the Chief Minister at his residence on Sunday, all the issues were discussed at length by the cabinet ministers. However, the TPCC president called for another meeting.

Addressing the leaders, he exuded confidence that ‘ground reports’ were favouring the Congress party but wanted them not to get lethargic or overconfident.

“A small mistake could impact the party’s prospects. All the leaders should work as per the strategies and in coordination with the ground-level workers,” Goud said.
