Karimnagar: A tractor driver, Erukulla Narsaiah (43) was hacked to death by unknown persons at Autonagar, Karimnagar town in the early hours of Saturday. According to police, the incident occurred when Narsaiah went to load sand in the tractor from a sand dump at Autonagar. Miscreants had slit his throat before hacking with an axe. After coming to about the incident, police rushed the spot and began investigation. Clues team and dog squad police were also deployed to nab culprits. Karimnagar Police Commissioner, VB Kamalasan Reddy visited the spot and enquired about the incident. Thought the exact reason is yet known, police suspected that sand trading leads to the murder of Narsaiah. However, family members of the deceased alleged that tractor owners and workers were behind the murder.
