Hyderabad: Commuters travelling through the busy Punjagutta corridor are likely to face traffic congestion for the next few weeks due to ongoing infrastructure works.
According to the Hyderabad Traffic Police, road cutting work is underway for the construction of a storm water drain stretch between Asiatic Hotel and a nearby residential area at Punjagutta Market.
The works are expected to impact traffic movement on the stretch connecting Irrum Manzil Metro Station and Punjagutta Junction.
The restrictions will remain in force from April 26 to May 20 between 8 am and 8 pm, during which moderate congestion is anticipated in the surrounding areas.
Motorists have been advised to take alternate routes to reach their destinations.
