Traffic curbs in Jubilee Hills as flyover, underpass works continue

Hyderabad traffic police have announced diversions and restrictions due to ongoing construction of the Steel Flyover and Underpass at Jubilee Hills Check Post, KBR Park Entrance, and Mugdha Junction.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police announced traffic restrictions in view of the ongoing construction of Steel Flyover and underpass works at Jubilee Hills Check Post, KBR Park Entrance and Mugdha Junction.

The traffic police stated that there will be traffic diversions as moderate traffic congestion is expected on stretches between Mugdha Junction, KBR Park Entrance Junction (Gate-I) and Jubilee Hills Check Post. The police suggested commuters to plan their travel in advance and use the following alternate routes to avoid Road No.2, Banjara Hills.


Traffic coming from NFCL going towards SNT, Sagar Society (Mugdha), KBR Park Entrance and Jubilee Hills Check Post, Road No.36, Road No 45 and Cable Bridge (Durgam Cheruvu) will be diverted at SNT Junction and Sagar Society, proceed via Srinagar Colony Main Road continuing through Indiranagar Labour Adda, Road No. 5, Jubilee Hills, Venkatagiri X Roads, (Road No.10, Jubilee Hills), taking left towards Jubileehills Checkpost.

Traffic coming from KCP and Road No. 1, Banjara Hills towards KBR Park, Jubilee Hills Checkpost, Road No.36 Jubilee Hills will be diverted at Taj Krishna towards Road No. 10, Banjara Hills, Road No. 1/10 Banjara Hills (City Centre) taking right turn Zahiranagar, Cancer Hospital, taking a left turn, continuing via Agrasen Island and proceed towards Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills.

Traffic coming from Masab Tank going towards KBR Park, Jubilee Hills check post will be diverted at Road No. 1 and 12, Banjara Hills, can proceed towards Agrasen Island and proceed towards Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills.

Traffic coming from Road No.36 and 45 Jubilee Hills going towards NFCL will be diverted at Jubilee Hills Checkpost Venkatagiri Road No.2, Jubilee Hills, Yousufguda Basti, Yousufguda checkpost, Maitrivanam, Ameerpet, towards Indiranagar Labour Adda, Srinagar Colony and towards Value Zone, Panjagutta Main Road.

Traffic coming from Begumpet towards NFCL will be diverted at NFCL towards Banjara Hills Road Nos. 1 and 4, 1 and 7, Taj Krishna, Banjara Hills Road No. 1 and 10 (City Centre) take right turn, Zahiranagar, Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Hospital, Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Road No.45, Checkpost Jubilee Hills.

Commuters should not use Punjagutta flyover; they should take a sideway situated beside Punjagutta flyover at Kakatiya Hotel towards Panjagutta X roads, NFCL, Road No.10 Banjara Hills.

The traffic police advised the people to avoid the routes during peak hours between 8.30 am to 11 am and 5 pm and 9 pm.
