Traffic diversions announced for RCC drain construction at Darussalam
The Hyderabad Traffic Police have imposed traffic diversions around Darussalam for 45 days from May 13 due to RCC box drain construction works between SBI Bank and Chaknawadi culvert. Motorists travelling via Mallepally, Aghapura and Alaska Junction have been advised to take alternate routes

Hyderabad: In view of the start of RCC box drain construction works at Darussalam, there will be certain traffic diversions in the surroundings for the next 45 days starting May 13.
According to Hyderabad Traffic Police, the works are being taken up from SBI Bank, Darussalam to Chaknawadi culvert, and round-the-clock traffic restrictions have been imposed to manage congestion.
Vehicles coming from Mallepally, Bhoiguda Kaman and Aghapura towards Alaska T Junction will be diverted at Darussalam towards Ek-Minar.
Similarly, traffic from Alaska Junction towards Darussalam will be diverted at Calcutta Sweet House through Chaknawadi by-lanes.
The traffic police have advised motorists to use alternate routes and plan their travel in advance to avoid delays during the construction period.
