Hyderabad: In view of Uppal corridor works, traffic diversions effective from May 17 have been issued by the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation on Saturday.
Accordingly, the road on Uppal Ring Road towards Warangal is to be temporarily closed from May 17 and commuters were advised to plan their travel in advance and use alternative routes.
Temporary changes have been introduced on the Uppal Ring Road, and the bus stop for Warangal, Hanumakonda, and Yadagirigutta near Uppal GHMC office has been temporarily relocated to near Nalla Cheruvu Katta.
Vehicles travelling from Warangal to Hyderabad, after passing Mayfair Hotel, have to proceed through Uppal Bhagayat to Nagole, take the service road, make a U-turn under the flyover, and continue to Hyderabad. Similarly, vehicles from Hyderabad to Warangal at the Survey of India Junction have to proceed via Pista House and Beerappa Gadda to reach Warangal via NH 163.
