Traffic head constable dies of heart stroke in Karimnagar
Karimnagar traffic head constable Yerroju Devendar (53) died of a heart stroke after returning home from duty. Serving since 1992, he is survived by his wife and two sons. Police officials visited his family to offer condolences

Karimnagar: Traffic head constable Yerroju Devendar (53) died of a heart stroke in Karimnagar on Monday.
Devendar had been on duty regulating traffic at Gandhi Chowk in the morning and returned home around 12 noon. Soon after reaching home, he suddenly collapsed. Family members rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
He joined the police department as an Armed Reserve constable in 1992 and was later converted to civil constable. He was serving as a head constable at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam expressed condolences on Devendar’s death. Traffic ACP, CIs, SIs and other police personnel visited the hospital to console the bereaved family.
