Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad from December 17 to 22 for President’s visit

Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions across several areas from December 17 to 22 due to President Droupadi Murmu’s visit. Commuters may face congestion and diversions, especially near major junctions. A helpline is available for updates.

Hyderabad: In view of President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to the city, certain traffic restrictions will be in place at various locations between December 17 and 22.

Traffic will either be stopped for a while or diverted at the following junctions due to VVIP and VIP movements.


Accordingly, on December 17 between 2 pm and 3 pm, traffic will be affected at Hakimpet Air Force Station Y Junction, Bolarum Check Post, Kowkoor Road, Risala Bazar, Lakadawal, Down Town, Alwal T Junction, Satya Petrol Pump, Lothukunta, Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel and NCC.

Similarly, on December 19, traffic will be affected at Bison Signal, RSI Circle, Navy House, Kowkoor Road, Bolarum Check Post, Risala Bazar, Lakadawala, Down Town, Alwal Rythu Bazar, Alwal T Junction, Satya Petrol Pump, Lothukunta, Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel, NCC, Tivoli, Plaza, YMCA, Sangeet and Alugaddabavi.

Again on December 20, traffic will be affected between 3 pm and 4.30 pm at Bison Signal, RSI Circle, Navy House, Kowkoor Road, Bolarum Check Post, Risala Bazar, Lakadawala, Down Town, Alwal Rythu Bazar, Alwal T Junction, Satya Petrol Pump, Lothukunta, Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel, NCC, Tivoli Plaza, CTO, Rasoolpura, Prakash Nagar, HPS Out Gate, Lifestyle Building, White House, Greenlands Junction, Punjagutta Flyover, NFCL Flyover Y Junction, MJ Engineering College, Almand House, SNT Junction, Sagar Society, KBR Junction, Gymkhana, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Road No.65, Road No.45 and the flyover at Road No.45.

Likewise, on December 21 between 5 pm and 6 pm, traffic will be affected at Begumpet Flyover, Hyderabad Public School, PNT Junction, Rasoolpura, CTO, Tivoli, NCC, Club-in Gate, Airtel Junction, Karkhana Junction, RTA Trimulgherry, Trimulgherry X Road, Holy Family, Lal Bazar, MCEME, Lothukunta, Satya Petrol Pump, Alwal T Junction, AOC Centre and Bison Signal.

On December 22 between 4 pm and 5 pm, traffic will be affected at Hakimpet Air Force Station Y Junction, Bolarum Check Post, Kowkoor Road, Risala Bazar, Lakadawal, Down Town, Alwal T Junction, Satya Petrol Pump, Lothukunta, Lothukunta T Junction, Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel and NCC.

Citizens are requested to take note of the above traffic advisory and plan their travel accordingly.
