Adilabad: Trailblazers India Foundation (TIF), in collaboration with HPCL, launched tailoring classes for 60 underprivileged women annually in Adilabad to foster self-reliance and sustainable employment. District Collector Rajarshi Shah inaugurated the facility, urging regular attendance for financial independence.

Shah emphasized women’s empowerment in backward districts like Adilabad, commending HPCL’s sponsorship and Sadu Sunder’s efforts in initiating the program. TIF Managing Trustee D.R. Ragland expressed confidence that the training, supported by HPCL and dedicated trainers, would transform lives by equipping women with essential skills for self-sufficiency.

DRSO-DRDA representative Ravinder Rathod praised Sadu Sunder and HPCL for their contributions to rural development. HPCL Assistant Sales Manager Kotla Rajkumar highlighted the company’s commitment to social responsibility through customer service and CSR initiatives.

The year-long program, conducted in four batches of 15 women each, offers vocational training in design, measurement, cutting, and stitching under experienced instructors. Participants will also learn to create handmade products like bags and files, enhancing self-employment and economic participation among rural women.
