Earlier, traders used to transport fruits in lorries. Transportation charges have been enhanced in the wake of increase in diesel prices. Moreover, it takes 72 hours to transport fruits to Delhi in lorries. However, train will reach the national capital within 24 hours.

Jagtial Mango Traders Assocation general secretary, Sadik said transportation of fruits has become a huge burden in the wake of the increase of diesel charges. Besides saving transportation charges, train will also reach Delhi within one day.
