Transgender woman dies by suicide after marital dispute in Siddipet

A 28-year-old transgender person, Sunanda, was found hanging at her residence in Siddipet on Thursday. According to her friend, she had been living separately from her husband after their relationship became strained. Police registered a case and began investigation.

Siddipet: Differences with her husband drove a transgender to suicide in Siddipet town. The deceased Sunanda (28) was found hanging from the ceiling at her residence at Indiramma Colony in the town on Thursday. According to her friend Sunitha, Sunanda married Ajay some three years ago. However, the duo developed differences after the man started moving with another woman. As the differences turned serious, Sunanda started living separately. Depressed over the strained relationship and vexed with life, Sunanda took the extreme step. Siddipet one-town police registered a case and the probe was on.
